Improvements
Carlisle Leisure Limited is a not for profit organisation which ultimately means that any operating profit made by the centre can be reinvested to bring a variety of improvements that directly benefit the centre users.
Already during 2005 a programme of improvement works has been carried out which includes:
- An upgrade of the current gym, which has included new cardio and resistance equipment, new carpets and new layout.
- A major refurbishment of the pool side changing facilities and foyer area. This work has included redecorating and the addition of group change and a new locker area. The foyer area has also been redeveloped which allows for much better access. A comfortable vending area has been incorporated, providing a much nicer waiting area or simply somewhere for refreshments after your swim.
