Driving Range
Our covered 16 bay, 300 yard driving range is a fantastic practice facility right in the centre of the city. Good quality golf balls are always available to hit onto the range, which features distance markers and target greens. Digi Cards are available for the Range which provides 225 balls for just £7, perfect for practising with!
The floods and storms that hit Carlisle in January 2005 had a big impact on the facility and consequently the driving range has been completely refurbished.
A grass hitting area is also available as is a practice chipping area with its own bunker and a good quality putting green.
The range was one of the UK’s first official PGA starter centres, and first class tuition for individuals or groups is available from our resident PGA Professional, Stephen Ling.
