Swimming Instruction with Carlisle Leisure Limited

When you enrol your child on one of our ‘Learn to Swim’ programmes you can be assured that our swimming instructors are A.S.A. qualified and are committed to ensuring your child progresses through the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming, (NPTS) as far as they wish to go.

Our Pools are committed to providing the continued development of children of all ages and abilities and the plan has been developed by the A.S.A. to provide a template for learn to swim schemes.

The NPTS is a comprehensive, integrated, progressive teaching programme based upon sound technical and educational principles. The NPTS aims to provide a degree of consistency throughout the country with regard to what we expect swimmers to do and how we expect them to do it.
